I scheduled an appointment for 10am. After I dropped my car off, I went to another appointment and didn’t return for 1 hour and 20 min. Considering I was only scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation, I was surprised I hadn’t received a call when I returned. They told me my car hadn’t even been taken back yet and it could be another hour before they were finished. I was NOT happy. I do understand they were busy, but multiple walk-ins came in when I was checking in and I believe they should honor the appointments scheduled before trying to squeeze others in. Luckily, they were able to finish my car in the next 15 min but it still was annoying. I’ve used them before without issue but this does make me question whether I want to come back again.

*FANTASTIC, WOMEN-OWNED AUTO REPAIR SHOP!* I brought in our '15 nissan sentra because the AC was blowing hot. We prevously went to a different mechanic that insisted on doing everything *except* replace the compressor, insisting that it was fine, resulting in 4 wasted weekends waiting up there all day, and out $400+. I heard about Honest-1 on TikTok as a recommended woman-owned auto repair shop. I brought it to them and they immediately knew it was very likely the compressor since this is a common issue for this specific car. Even though thats an expensive repair, I really appreciated them being upfront and honest about what was needed and how long it would take. They also gave me a heads up about other common issues to expect with this car. They made sure I understood everything and wasn't rushing me at all. They give you a written and signed quote prior to doing any work so there's no surprise charges later. They also have a 3 year warranty on their work which is a relief. They have 3 or 4 financing options so they're able to accommodate folks whether your credit is good or bad. We were able to use their loaner car and they had our car ready the next day. If you choose to wait in the lobby, it's spacious, comfortable, plenty of seating, and they have complimentary snacks, soda, and bottled water. The bathroom is kept very clean and well stocked. It also has an actual changing table instead of the wall mounted plastic ones. They provide santizing/cleaning sprays for it, too. They are friendly, honest, and hard working folks. Even if they're a little out of the way for you, they're still worth the drive especially if you're tired of being ripped off by mechnics. These folks are the best! I will absolutely be returning for future repairs and maintenance.

I’m not happy with my oil change, because the technician change my oil didn’t do a good job, He left unscrew bottom panel did not put back in the right place.

These guys (GALS) are the BEST! Two things I look for in any service business are SERVICE and HONESTY. I found them both in abundance at HONEST-1 Auto Care in Castle Hills. First, Kim and Robin greet you warmly as you enter the front door. Then, from the first interaction as you enter the house to the surprise treat left inside your vehicle when you pick it up, Honest-1 goes that extra SERVICE mile for you. And as far as HONESTY goes, they were upfront with me regarding the diagnostic fee, and I received a call with an estimate before they proceeded with the work. So my final bill was exactly the amount I was expecting. Lastly, they finished the job sooner than I expected. My visit was a perfect example of "Under Promising and Over Delivering." So if you're looking for excellent service and honesty in an auto care business, run to Robin and Kim at HONEST-1 Auto Care in Castle Hills! HONESTLY!

I came in for my state inspection, after work yesterday, so around 1630ish. It was quick and easy! They were very kind and professional. Plus they have snacks and a variety of drinks for your comfort. Definitely coming back, my significant other will also come back to this establishment for his oil change rather than Kwik Kar. They left a sweet card and some cheese itz in my car which we appreciated! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, as a woman I felt comfortable here, and they have a dog! 🐶 definitely recommend.
