I came into honest 1 with a loud squeaking sound in the front of my Van and the thermostat running hot. I knew this wasn't going to be a quick in and out and my guess was the water pump and belt had issues. The technicians checked my van as Robin gave me a ride to my office more than 30 minutes away. I received a call soon after being dropped off and the technicians confirmed it was the water pump. They suggested since my vehicle was over 190,000 miles it would be smart to replace the hoses to the radiator at the same time since they would be off during repairs and were likely to fail as well due to the age of my vehicle. They also told me it was 7 hours of labor to get the car ready and unlikely to happen today. I begged them to try and finish my vehicle today as getting a ride that night would be difficult. My work day came to an end and I called honest 1 to see how the van was doing. They said they had all the parts and were working hard to finish it today. I hung up happy to hear that and tried to make plans to get a ride to the shop by closing. I couldn't get a ride and was about to uber when Robin called and asked if she could pick me up. I said sure and thanked her for offering. She had to wait till 7PM, their closing time to head my way. She drove 30 minutes in the rain after closing to pick me up, we maid it back to her shop by 8PM an hour after close. Kimera and another employee were waiting for we and completed my transaction and payment. This was as good of an outcome as I could of ever expected. No one beats Honest 1 Castle Hill's service and caring for their customers.
